- Knead a soft dough with flour salt sugar oil and water and keep aside.
- Now heat oil and temper cumin seed,bay leaf, red chilli whole and whole garam masalas.
- Now add asafoetida and ginger paste and saute well.
- Add salt and turmeric powder and mix.
- At this point add cumin coriander powder and red chilli Powder and saute till oil separates.
- Now add cashew raisins and pour the boiled dal.
- Add sugar and bring it to boil.
- Remove it from heat and keep aside.
- Now once again knead the dough a little and make small balls of it.
- Roll the balls into round shape.
- Heat oil in a wok add the puris and fry.
- Serve it with chana dal and sweets of your choice.
