Ingredients of Sogo Kheer
- You need 1/2 kg of full cream milk.
- You need 1/2 cup of sogo (sabudana).
- Prepare to taste of sugar according.
- It's 4 of green cardamoms powder.
- Prepare 8-9 of strands of kesar.
- You need 1/2 cup of water.
- It's 8-10 of casews,raisins almonds etc.
Sogo Kheer step by step
- Wash & rinse the sogo with fresh water for 2_3 times..
- Soak in 1 cup of milk for 25 minutes..
- Meanwhile boil milk in a heavy bottom karahi not in a pan on low flame for 10 minutes..
- Stir constantly till a boil comes now add 1/2 cup of water in it.Cook on low flame for 10 minutes..
- Pour 2 tbsp of boiled milk in kesar & mix well.keep it aside..
- Now add soaked sogo along with the milk..
- Stir constantly..
- Cook on low flame for 10 minutes & then check if sogo is properly cooked or become smooth or not..
- Add kesar with milk & mix well..Stir constantly & add 4 green cardamom powder..
- Stir constantly & add 4 green cardamom powder..
- Now add sugar& cook another for 5 minutes..
- Switch off the flame & before serving add chopped dryfrits U can eat it hot as well as cold..
