Luchi cholar daal (puri and chana daal) instructions

  1. Wash and soak the daal prior to cooking.
  2. Knead a dough with all purpose flour, sugar,salt,oil and water and keep aside.
  3. Boil the daal with salt and turmeric powder.
  4. Heat oil in a pan add whole garam masalas jeera seeds bay leaf and red chilli whole.
  5. Add ginger paste saute well adding salt and turmeric powder.
  6. Add jeera dhaniya powder mix well.
  7. Add red chilli Powder and nuts and raisins.
  8. Pour the boiled daal and boil.
  9. The daal is ready to serve.
  10. Now take small balls of the dough roll into round shape and deep fry.
  11. Serve it along with chana daal.
