Ingredients of Sabudana Momos
- It's of For the Sabudana Momos.
- It's 1 cup of Sago/Sabudana(washed & soaked in little water for 2 hours).
- You need to taste of Rock salt.
- Prepare of For the Momo stuffing.
- You need 1 of big Boiled Potato.
- You need 2 tbsp of Groundnut roasted & powdered.
- You need 1 of Green chilli.
- It's 1 tsp of Jeera.
- Prepare 1/4 inch of Ginger finely chopped.
- You need as needed of Curry leaves.
- It's 1 tbsp of Ghee.
- It's to taste of Rock salt.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Lemon.
- It's 1 tsp of Coriander leaves finely chopped.

Sabudana Momos step by step
- For the Sabudana Momos:- First wash the sago and soak it in little water for atleast 2 hours..
- Then grind it in a mixer,add salt as per taste and knead it well. Keep aside covered..
- Now for the stuffing heat a kadhai put ghee,when hot add jeera, after they splutter add the chopped ginger and curry leaves.Saute for a minute..
- Then add the boiled peeled and mashed potato and mix well..
- In the meantime powder the peanuts with the green chilli..
- Now add this powder to the kadhai,put salt and mix again..
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and squeeze a few drops of lemon. Mix well and turn off the gas. Keep the mixture aside..
- Now make small balls of the kneaded Sabudana/Sago.Grease the Modak mould.Put the sago ball in it and gently press it,or else roll it to a small round shape like a Puri..
- Now add the stuffing and close the base of the Modak/momo with a small thin piece of the kneaded sago flour..
- Similarly make the remaining Momos..
- Then steam it 5 to 7 minutes..
- Serve with chutney of your choice. Enjoy these tasty momos on a fasting day..
