- It's 1 cup of toor daal.
- Prepare 2 cups of Rice.
- It's 2-3 tbsp of ginger garlic chilli paste.
- You need as needed of Salt.
- Prepare 5 tbsp + 2 tbsp of Oil.
- You need 1 tsp of Turmeric.
- It's 1 tsp of Soda bi crab.
- You need 1 pinch of Hing.
- You need 2 tbsp of curd.
- You need 1/2 cup boiled of Green toor.
- You need 2 tbsp of Coriander chopped.
- Prepare 4.5 cups of Water.
- You need of hai.
Authentic and Healthy steamed Laadwa Dhokli step by step
- Take rice and toor daal. And make slightly coarse flour of it in mixer jar..
- Now In a broad kadhai take 4.5 cups water. Add ginger garlic chilli paste, salt, turmeric, soda, 5 tbsp oil, 2 tbsp curd, hing and bring it to boil. Boil for another 20 mins..
- Now in flour add boiled green toor and chopped coriander. And mix well. Add this flour mixture into boiling water and mix well. No lumps should be there..
- Mix well for 2-3 mins. Now cover the kadhai and on slow flame cook the dough for another 5mins..
- Remove the dough from gas. Make laadwa dhoklii of the hot dough as shown in picture..
- Now in a steamer steam the ladwa dhoklii for 20mins..
- You can serve this dhoklii hot with kachha oil. Or you can have them as vagharela Dhokla. I have cut them in small cubes and fried them like Dhokla..
