- You need 1/2 kg of Chicken.
- It's 1 tsp of coriander powder.
- You need 1 tsp of Chilli powder.
- It's to taste of Salt.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of Turmeric powder.
- You need 3 tbsp of curd.
- You need 2 tbsp of oil.
- You need 2 of medium size onion finely chopped.
- You need 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
- Prepare 1 of bay leaf.
- You need 1 of star anise.
- It's 4 of cloves.
- Prepare 5-6 of Black pepper.
- It's 1 inch of cinnamon stick.
- You need 1 of green cardamom.
- Prepare 1 tsp of fennel seeds.
- Prepare 1 of tomato finely chopped.
- It's 1 tbsp of Ginger garlic paste.
- You need 1/2 tsp of Dry fenugreek leaves.
- It's 3 tbsp of Coriander leaves.
- It's 2 tsp of lemon juice.
- It's 1 tbsp of chicken masala Powder.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Garam masala.
- It's 2.1 of /2 cup water or required.
Dhaba Style simple & Spicy Chicken Gravy step by step
- For Marination :- Take the mixing bowl add washed 1/2 kg chicken, add turmeric powder, 1 tsp chilli powder, coriander powder, 3 tbsp curd mix well coated with chicken. Cover and rest it for at least 30 mins for marinate..
- Next Heat the some oil in pan add whole spices like cinnamon, cardamom, star anise, cumin seeds, bay leaf, fennel seeds, black pepper, cloves and dry fenugreek leaves (Kasturi Methi) saute for few seconds until aromat.
- After add ginger garlic paste and chopped 1 onion saute it well till they turns golden brown colour..
- Next add chopped tomato stir occasionally until they becomes soft and mushy..
- Now Off the flame then cool it completely. Once cooled add this mixture to grinder or mixi jar..
- In the mixi jar additionally add Coriander leaves and 1/2 lemon juice add water if u needed..
- Now grind this mixture to make a smooth paste. Keep aside.
- Further heat the oil in a pan once oil is heat sufficiently. Add marinated chicken saute it well..
- Cover and cook couple of minutes stirring occasionally. After add grinded masala mixture mix well..
- Furthermore add 2.1/2 cup water or required, add garam masala, Chicken masala powder mix well..
- Now cover and cook until chicken well cooked. Lastly add chopped coriander leaves for garnish..
