Ingredients of Chana Puri
- Prepare 1 cup of Kabuli chana/chikpea.
- Prepare 2 of medium onion.
- You need 4 of garlic cloves.
- You need 2 tsp of oil.
- You need 1 inch of ginger.
- It's 4 of tomatoes.
- It's 1 of green chilli.
- Prepare to taste of Salt.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Red chilli powder.
- You need 1 tsp of Turmeric powder.
- Prepare 1 tsp of chole masala.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of coriander leaves chopped.
Chana Puri instructions
- Soak chana for 2 hours.
- In a pressure cooker add chanasalt and water let the blow 4 whistles than lower the flame for 15 minutes.
- In a wok add oil cumin seeds.
- In a mixture jar blend the onion garlic ginger and green chilli paste.
- When cumin seeds splatter add onion paste with ginger garlic paste together saute till golden brown.
- Add dry masalas cook for few minutes add tomato puree cook it stir it add boiled chanasaute it on low flame for few minutes add water according to your choice.
- Cover the lid and let the chanasimmer add chana masala stir well take out in a bowl garnish with coriander leaves serve with puri rice bread or paratha and salad with onion and pickle.
