Ingredients of Chana Puri

  1. Prepare 1 cup of Kabuli chana/chikpea.
  2. Prepare 2 of medium onion.
  3. You need 4 of garlic cloves.
  4. You need 2 tsp of oil.
  5. You need 1 inch of ginger.
  6. It's 4 of tomatoes.
  7. It's 1 of green chilli.
  8. Prepare to taste of Salt.
  9. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Red chilli powder.
  10. You need 1 tsp of Turmeric powder.
  11. Prepare 1 tsp of chole masala.
  12. Prepare 1/2 tsp of coriander leaves chopped.

Chana Puri instructions

  1. Soak chana for 2 hours.
  2. In a pressure cooker add chanasalt and water let the blow 4 whistles than lower the flame for 15 minutes.
  3. In a wok add oil cumin seeds.
  4. In a mixture jar blend the onion garlic ginger and green chilli paste.
  5. When cumin seeds splatter add onion paste with ginger garlic paste together saute till golden brown.
  6. Add dry masalas cook for few minutes add tomato puree cook it stir it add boiled chanasaute it on low flame for few minutes add water according to your choice.
  7. Cover the lid and let the chanasimmer add chana masala stir well take out in a bowl garnish with coriander leaves serve with puri rice bread or paratha and salad with onion and pickle.
