Ingredients of Chatpati Bhindi Masala
- It's 250 gm of Bhindi/ladyfinger.
- You need 1 of tomato finely chopped.
- Prepare 1 of Onion finely chopped.
- Prepare 1 Bowl of Dahi/ Yogurt.
- It's 1 tbsp of cumin seeds.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Red chilli powder.
- Prepare 1/2 tbsp of turmeric powder.
- You need 1 tbsp of coriander powder.
- It's 1/2 tbsp of kasoori Methi.
- You need 1/2 tbsp of Carrom seeds/ Ajwain.
- It's 1/2 tbsp of funnel seeds.
- You need 1 tbsp of ginger Garlic paste.
- You need 2 tbsp of coriander leaves.
- Prepare as needed of Oil.
- Prepare to taste of Salt.
Chatpati Bhindi Masala step by step
- Wash and dry Bhindi with clean napkin..
- Cut bhindi in to long medium size..
- Take pan and heat 1 tbsp oil..
- Saute Bhindi for 5 min on medium flame..
- Take out Bhendi and add 2 tbsp oil in same pan..
- Add cumin seeds and allow to flutter..
- Add onions and fry for 2-3 minutes..
- Add Funnel seeds (sounf) and Carrom seeds (Ajwain). Saute for 1/2 minute..
- Add ginger Garlic paste and Saute for 1 minute..
- Add tomatoes and cook until the tomatoes turns mushy..
- Add Turmeric powder, Chilli powder, coriander powder and mix well..
- Saute for 1 minute on low flame..
- Add 1 bowl of fresh Curd/ yogurt..
- Mix and cook for 2 minutes..
- Add kasoori Methi..
- Add Bhindi and mix well..
- Add salt as per taste..
- Cover and cook for 5 min on low flame..
- Turn off gas flame. And sprinkle some fresh coriander leaves..
- Healthy and chatpati Bhindi Masala is ready to serve..
