Ingredients of Masala Aloo Puri

  1. Prepare of For Aloo Sabzi.
  2. Prepare 2 cup of boiled potatoes cubes.
  3. It's 1 of onion chopped.
  4. You need 1 cup of tomatoes chopped.
  5. You need 2 tsp of garlic chopped.
  6. It's 1 tsp of ginger chopped.
  7. Prepare 1 tsp of green chilles chopped.
  8. You need 1 tbsp of oil.
  9. Prepare 1 tsp of Red chilli powder.
  10. Prepare 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.
  11. You need 1/2 tsp of garam masala.
  12. You need 1/2 tsp of dry mango powder.
  13. It's 1/2 tsp of Cumin seeds.
  14. It's 1/2 tsp of Coriander powder.
  15. Prepare to taste of Salt.
  16. You need 2 tsp of Coriander leaves chopped.
  17. It's of for puris.
  18. You need 1 cup of whole wheat flour.
  19. It's 2 tsp of oil.
  20. It's 1/4 tsp of salt.
  21. You need 1/4 tsp of carom seeds (Ajwain).
  22. Prepare 1/2 tsp of crushed fenugreek leaves.
  23. Prepare as needed of Oil for deep frying.
  24. You need as needed of Water for dough.

Masala Aloo Puri instructions

  1. (For Aloo Sabzi):-- Heat oil in a pan or kadai. Add cumin seeds saute for a second add onions, garlic, ginger, greenchilles and saute for few minutes on a medium flame. Add tomatoes mix well and cook 3-4 minutes..
  2. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, Coriander powder, garam masala, dry mango powder and 1/2 cup water,mix well.cook for 2-3 minutes..
  3. Now add boiled potato cubes, salt, Coriander leaves and 1/2 cup water mix well and cook on medium flame for 5 minutes..
  4. (For puris):- Take a bowl add wheat flour, salt, oil, carom seeds, dried fenugreek leaves combine well add water and knead stiff dough..
  5. Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes..
  6. Divide the dough into equal portions make balls and roll out into round puri shape..
  7. Heat oil in a deep kadhai or pan fry puris till they turn golden brown in colour from both sides..
  8. Drain the puris on kitchn napkins..
  9. Serve the hot puris with aloo sabzi with Raita...
