  2. Prepare 4 cups of water.
  3. Prepare 1/2 cup of bread crumbs.
  4. You need 2 tbsp of flour.
  5. Prepare 1 cup of grated carrot.
  6. You need 1/2 of finely chopped capsicum.
  7. Prepare 2 of finely chopped green chillies.
  8. You need 1 tbsp of finely chopped coriander leaves.
  9. Prepare 1/4 tsp of chilli powder.
  10. It's 1 cup of boiled/steamed broccoli florets (optional).
  11. Prepare 1/2 tsp of roasted cumin and coriander powder.
  12. You need 1/4 cup of shredded cheese of your choice.
  13. It's as needed of little turmeric powder.
  14. Prepare to taste of salt.

  1. Wash and drain quinoa and keep aside..
  2. Take a deep pan and add one tablespoon of oil..
  3. Roast the washed and drained quinoa for 5 minutes on medium flame..
  4. Then add the water and cook till the water absorbs..
  5. Remove from the flame and keep covered for 5 minutes..
  6. Take a deep bowl and add cooked quinoa in it..
  7. Then add scrambled bread, flour, carrot, capsicum, coriander, chillies, chilli powder, turmeric, roasted cumin and coriander powder, broccoli florets, salt, and cheese. Mix well..
  8. Divide the mixture into equal portions and roll out each portion into a 50 mm. (2”) flat round tikki..
  9. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and grease it using oil (as required)..
  10. Cook each tikki till they turn golden brown in colour from both the sides..
  11. Serve hot with green chutney or ketchup. Enjoy!.
