- You need 1 cup of rice.
- It's 1/4 cup of chopped carrot.
- It's 1/4 cup of chopped onion.
- You need 1/4 cup of chopped cucumber.
- You need 2 tbsp of oil.
- It's 1 tbsp of urad dal.
- It's 1/2 tsp of cummin seeds.
- It's 1 pinch of asafoetida.
- You need as needed of curry leaves.

- Wash and cook rice in pressure cooker. Cool completely. In kadhai add heat oil, add & saute urad dal, as it turns pink add cummin seeds, asafoetida, chopped green chillies..
- Add chopped onion and carrot,saute for 2 mins..
- Put this mixture in rice and cucumber. Add salt and mix well..
- Pour whisked curd on rice. Mix and keep refrigerate for few hours..
