- You need 1 cup of rice.
- You need 2 tsp of spns grated coconut.
- It's 1 tbsp of oil.
- You need 1 tbsp of mustard seeds.
- You need 1 pinch of Asafoetida.

- Prepare 1 tbsp of cashew slices.
- Prepare 1-2 of green chillies.
- It's 1 inch of ginger grated.
- It's 1 tsp of Urad dal.
- It's 1 tsp of chana dal (optional).
- Prepare 1-2 of dry red chillies.
- It's 7-8 of curry leaves.
Coconut Rice step by step
- Wash and soak rice for 15 -20 minutes in water.
- Grind coconut,green chillies, ginger and few curry leaves together..
- Steam rice adding little salt. Cook rice and spread in plate.
- Heat oil in kadhai add mustard seeds then add Urad dal, chana dal and cashews in oil fry it till golden brown. Add dry red chillies, curry leaves and Asafoetida in it stir it..
