Ingredients of Misti Doi
- Prepare 1/2 Cup of Sugar.
- Prepare 2 Tbsp of Water.
- Prepare 1/4 Cup of Condensed Milk.
- It's 3 Cups of Milk.
- Prepare 1/2 Cup of Hung Curd.
Misti Doi instructions
- In a pan, Add 1/2 cup sugar and 2 Tbsp water. Stir well at medium flame till the sugar dissolves completely..
- Once it caramelizes to golden brown colour, Add 3 cups of Milk and stir well till the caramelized sugar dissolves into milk..
- Then Add 1/4 cup condensed milk and let the milk boil to half..
- Once the milk is boiled, turn off the flame. And let it cool down until it’s lukewarm..
- In a bowl, take 1/2 cup hung curd and whisk it completely to avoid lumps..
- Once the milk cools down to lukewarm temperature, add the whisked hung curd to milk and mix it well..
- Transfer it a air tight bowl or a clay pot covering it with aluminum foil and let it sit for 8 to 10 hrs..
- Once the curd is set, keep it in freeze for few hours and serve it..
