- Take a wok, on medium heat, add 3 tbsps of coconut oil and add all the ingredients mentioned under "Tempering", saute them until the dals and peanuts turn golden brown..
- Now reduce the heat, and add the grated coconut, sugar and saute this for less than a minute..
- Switch off the heat and add the cooked rice, required amount of salt and mix..
- Garnish this with coriander leaves and serve it hot with Appalam / Pappad..
