- Add 1 & half cup of water in 1 cup of corn flour in a bowl..
- Take a sauce pan add 1 & half cup sugar and 1 & half cup of water, let it boil for 5 minutes..
- When water get boiling add corn flour water. Stir continuouly on medium flame.bAfter 10 minutes add lemon juice(to avoid crystal formation)..
- Add 2 tspoon of ghee & stir continuously until ghee get absorbed. Again add 2 tsp of ghee & keep stirring..
- After 10 minutes add dry fruits, cardamom powder & any food colour in it and keep stirring. (I have used grated beetroot juice for red colour).
- Mix it and stir until ghee separate. (Take little bit of batter in plate if it can't stick to plate then batter is ready)turn off the flame..
- Grease the plate then pour batter spread evenly. Let it cool down in room temperature. After that cut in pieces. Karachi halava is ready..
