Ingredients of Pineapple payasam
- You need 200 gms of pineapple.
- It's 75 gms of jaggery(Gud).
- You need 1/3 cup of water.
- It's 1 cup of thick coconut milk.
- Prepare 4 of cardamoms.
- You need 15 of cashews.
- You need 15 of raisins.
- Prepare 1 tablespoon of ghee.
Pineapple payasam instructions
- Chop pineapple slices finely keep aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a pan.
- Add 15 cashews.
- Stir and roast them in ghee till they become golden.Remove and keep aside.
- Add 15 raisins in the same pan. Stir and cook them till they become plump remove and keep aside.
- Now in the same pan add the chopped pineapple.
- Stir very well and saute for 3 minutes on a low flame.
- Then add melted jaggery.
- Then add 1/3cup water.
- Cook untill pineapple pieces becomes soft and well cooked.
- Then add fried cashews crushed cardamom and fried raisins.
- Now add thick coconut milk. Do not allow coconut milk to boil more.
- Remove from flame.
