Curd Rice instructions

  1. Cook the rice with 3 cups of water and some salt. We need overcooked rice which gets easily mashed up.

  4. Add the cream and yogurt and mix well..
  5. Heat oil for tempering in a small pan and splutter the mustard seeds..

  7. Now add the dry red chilies, curry leaves, finely chopped green chillies and finely chopped ginger. Fry for a minute..
  8. Add this to the curd rice. Also add the finely chopped coriander leaves and mix together..
  9. Curd rice is ready to be served. You can also garnish it with more chopped cilantro or grated carrots fresh fruits pomegranate.
