Ingredients of Curd Rice

  3. You need 1 cup of Curd/ dahi -.
  4. You need 1 tablespoon of For Tadka - Ghee -.
  5. You need 1/2 teaspoon of Mustard seeds/ raai -.
  6. It's 1 tablespoon of Urad dal/ white lentils -.
  7. You need 1 tablespoon of Peanut/ moong fali -.
  8. You need 2 of Chopped green chilies/ hari mirch -.
  9. Prepare of Curry leaves/ meetha neem - few.
  10. Prepare 2 of Red chilies/ lal mirch -.
  11. It's of Chopped coriander leaves/ dhaniya patta - a handfull.
  12. Prepare to taste of Salt/ namak.

Curd Rice step by step

  1. Add rice and water in a pressure cooker and cook it on high flame for 1 whistle. Switch off the flame once it is done..
  2. Take the cooked rice in a bowl..
  3. Heat ghee in a pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal and saute for 1 minute. Add peanuts and saute for 2 minutes. Add green chilies and curry leaves. Saute for few seconds and add red chilli and then switch off the flame.
  4. When rice gets cooled down, add curd, tadka and salt. Mix very well and sprinkle fresh coriander leaves..
  5. Yummy 'Curd Rice' is ready to be served!!!.
