Ingredients of Kesar Phirni

  1. Prepare 2 tbsp of basmati rice.
  2. Prepare For soaking of Water.
  3. Prepare 1 ltr of full cream milk.
  4. It's 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder.
  5. Prepare 2 tbsp of saffron milk.
  6. Prepare 1/4 cup of sugar.

Kesar Phirni instructions

  1. Firstly soal basmati rice for 30 mins..
  2. Discard the water & blend rice to coarse paste,keep aside..
  3. Now in a large kadai boil milk..
  4. Stir occasionally & simmer for 10 mins..
  5. Keep the flame on low or till milk thickens..
  6. Now add in prepared coarse rice paste..
  7. Stir continuously for 5mins, else lumps might form.
  8. Simmer for another 5 mins, stiring in between..
  9. Boil the milk till the rice gets cooked completely..
  10. Further add sugar & saffron milk..
  11. Mix well till the milk thickens & turn creamy..
  12. Add in cardamom powder mix well..
  13. Finally,serve chilled phiri garnished with few chopped nuts..
