- Prepare 2 tbsp of basmati rice.
- Prepare For soaking of Water.
- Prepare 1 ltr of full cream milk.
- It's 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of saffron milk.
- Prepare 1/4 cup of sugar.
Kesar Phirni instructions
- Firstly soal basmati rice for 30 mins..
- Discard the water & blend rice to coarse paste,keep aside..
- Now in a large kadai boil milk..
- Stir occasionally & simmer for 10 mins..
- Keep the flame on low or till milk thickens..
- Now add in prepared coarse rice paste..
- Stir continuously for 5mins, else lumps might form.
- Simmer for another 5 mins, stiring in between..
- Boil the milk till the rice gets cooked completely..
- Further add sugar & saffron milk..
- Mix well till the milk thickens & turn creamy..
- Add in cardamom powder mix well..
- Finally,serve chilled phiri garnished with few chopped nuts..
