Homemade Boondi ki Barfi instructions
- Wash and soak urad dal for 4 hours.
- Now drain all water and transfer in mixer jar and make fine paste and transfer in a bowl.
- Add besan,soda maida, food colour and gradually add 3/4 cup water and whisk no lumps remaining and prepare a semi liquid batter.
- Now cover the batter and keep aside for 10 mins.
- Now heat oil in kadhai, take a hole spoon, place some batter and pour over the oil and make boondi.
- When boondi crisp left out from oil and do same with all better and prepare boondi.
- For making barfi,take sugar and 1/2 cup water,when sugar melt add lemon juice, discard the impurities, and prepare the one string chashny.
- Now add zarda colour,mix and cook.
- Add mavaa in this chashni and cook.
- Now add nicely chopped dry fruits,rose water, milk powder, green cardamom powder and mix well till all combine.
- Add prepare boondi and mix lightly on low flame.
- Now transfer the mixture in grease pan and spread evenly,spread dry over the top and press with palm to set.
- Stick the silver warq over the top to garnish.
- When it's lightly hot cut in pieces and rest to set.
