  1. To start with, Wash and soak rice for at least 1 hour..

  4. Add Saffron strands to it and once the milk gets thick, add cardamom and sugar to it. Keep stirring..
  5. Add thandai powder to Phirni and keep stirring for another 5-10 minutes, until it attain the thandai’s full flavour..
  6. Let it cool and then refrigerate before serving..
  7. Garnish with shredded almonds and rose petals before serving..
