- Wash and soak chana daal in water for 3-4 hours hours.
- Strain the water completely then keep the daal in the seive for 30 minutes.
- In a kadai heat 2tbsp ghee add the daal and fry in low heat for 15 minutes by continuous stirring when daal is slightly brown switch off the gas and let it cool..
- In another vessel add sugar and milkboil for a while.
- When daal is cooled grind it.
- In the same kadai in which daal is fried add 1 tbsp ghee and in low flame fry the daal powder for 5 minutes by stirring continuously pour the milk sugar mixture in it and stir quickly till milk absorbs and mixture is thicken add cardamom powder mix well,when it leaves the sides of kadai switch off the flame.
- Grease a thali with ghee pour the mixture in it sprinkle chopped nuts and kishmish let it set for 30 minutes or more cut into pieces..
- If you wish can apply silver wirk on it too.
