- Reduce the flame to it's lowest &slowly pour milk in the pan.Mix it well, simmer milk on a low to medium-low flame.Stir ocassionally so that milk does not stick to pan..
- Let the milk come to boil.After boiling add sugar.Mix very well so that all the sugar dissolves..
- Next add almonds &cashews.Mix well.
- Then add cardamom powder..
- Cooks the kheer for 4-5 min more till the vermicelli gets cooked.when the kheer has cooked well it will also thicken &look creamy.switch off the flame & then add raisins..
- Serve vermicelli kheer hot, warm or chilled. Garnish with chopped cashews & almond while serving.Do note that on cooling the kheer will thicken..
