Ingredients of Curd Rice
- You need 1 cup of raw rice (Basumathi rice).
- It's 2 cups of water.
- Prepare 2 cups of curd.
- It's 2 nos of chilly green.
- You need 1 tsp of ginger grated.
- You need 1 tsp of mustard seed asafoetida jeerakam , powder and each.
- It's 1 tbsp of urad dal.
- It's 1 tbsp of curry leaves corriander ,and leaves each.
- It's 1 of chilly dry red.
- You need 1 of carrot grated.
- You need 1 tbsp of oil.
Curd Rice instructions
- Add one cup of rice to 2 cups of boiling water and cook till the rice is soft..
- Take out from fire,and mix the rice with 2 cups of curd and required salt.Now splutter the mustard seed in the hot oil in a pan,add jeerakam,urad dal,redchilly,followed by grated ginger,curry leaves,green chilly, and asafoetida powder.Take out from fire and add these to the rice-curd mixture.Mix thoroughly.Serve hot or cold.Decorate with grated carrot and corriander leaves on the top. Delicious curd rice is ready.
