Ingredients of Carrot and Almond No Fuss Halwa
- It's 1 kg of Peeled and roughly chopped Carrots(blend in chopper or mixer).
- You need 3/4 cup of Sugar(or to taste).
- Prepare 5 tbsp of Milk powder/dairy whitener.
- It's 2-3 tbsp of Desi ghee.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of Almonds.
- You need 2 of Green cardamoms(green elaichi).
- Prepare 4-5 of Cashewnuts for garnish.
Carrot and Almond No Fuss Halwa step by step
- Put roughly chopped and blended carrots in a pressure cooker without oil and give two whistles.(if carrots r bit extra hard sprinkle some water and them steam).Cool it and take it out in an open pan..
- Cook cooled carrots on medium flame for 5 mins till water dries(u can use pressure cooker or kadhi or pan)..
- Add sugar and cook till water dries..
- Crush the almonds with elaichi and keep aside. Rub the desi ghee in the milk powder with hands and keep it aside..
- Add almond powder and milk powder to be cooked with carrots. Mix well and cook it for 5 min.Your yummy and easy Carrot and Almond Halwa is ready..
