How to Prepare Delicious Chocolate coconut burfi

Chocolate coconut burfi. While the milk is condensing combine the coconut with the warmed milk to rehydrate it a bit. These are one of my favorite, all-time favorite treats. This is my go-to quick-fix dessert.

You can even serve it with a scoop of icecream for a perfect dessert to finish off your meal. You can cook Chocolate coconut burfi using 6 ingredients and 8 steps. Here is how you achieve it.

Ingredients of Chocolate coconut burfi

  1. Prepare 1 cup of Fresh grated coconut.
  2. You need 1 cup of Whole dried milk / mawa.
  3. Prepare 3/4 cup of Sugar.
  4. You need 2 tablespoon of Cocoa powder.
  5. You need 1/4 cup of Cardamom powder.
  6. You need 1 tablespoon of Cashew nuts.

The procedure is so much like the carrot burfi and paan burfi I posted earlier. In this vedio , you will see easy and simple recipe of chocolate coconut barfi. Hubby dear loves coconut burfi too and whenever we have excess coconut at home, we end up making this. So when decided to take homemade sweets for our sils, he suggested we make this also.

Chocolate coconut burfi instructions

  1. Heat a pan add coconut,dried whole milk / mawa and sugar and stir continuously till the sugar melt and coconut and whole dried milk / mawa mixwd well..
  2. Add cocoa powder and mix well.
  3. The mixture will start to thicken..
  4. Switch off the gas..
  5. Add cardamom powder and mix well..
  6. Grease the plate and pour the coconut mixture spread evenly..
  7. After half an hour cut them..
  8. Garnish with cashew nuts.

And I thought making a chocolate burfi will make it more interesting for the lil ones. Barfi or burfi is a Indian sweet fudge made mostly with milk, sugar and flavoring ingredients. Khoya or mawa are the milk solids got by condensing the milk till it thickens and reaches a solid consistency. To make a homemade khoya or khoa lot of patience and time is needed which I do not have. Beat cream cheese with mixer until creamy.
