Ingredients of Steam Sandesh
- Prepare 1 of and 1/2 litter full cream milk.
- It's 2 tbsp of vinegar+ 2 tbsp water dilute.
- You need 1/2 cup of powdered sugar.
- You need 1 tsp of green cardamom powder.
- Prepare of Few chopped Cashew nuts and raisin.
- It's of Ghee for greasing.
- Prepare of Few chopped almonds for topping.
Steam Sandesh instructions
- Take a deep pan, boil the milk, once milk is boiled switch off the burner and add the vinegar and water dilute to cuddle the milk.
- Filter the chhena and wash in running water, now soft chhena is ready, hang it for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, knead the chhena to make it smooth, add powdered sugar and cardamom powder and knead the chhena very smooth.
- Now add cashew nuts and raisin and mix well.
- Grease little ghee in a cake tin and pour the chhena mixture and press little bit, garnish few chopped almonds on top.
- Boil water in a deep vessel and put a stand on it and then put the tin on the stand, cover a lid and steamed the chhena mixture for 20 minutes.
- Check with help of a knife, and if knife comes out clean then it's done.
- Now your tasty steam Sandesh is ready, cool it down for 15 minutes and demould it, cut and serve.
