Ingredients of Veg Handi/Handi Subzi

  1. It's 100 gm of green peas.
  2. You need 100 gm of cauliflower.
  3. Prepare 100 gm of potato.
  4. Prepare 50 gm of french beans.

  7. You need 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.
  8. Prepare 1/2 tsp of garam masala.

  10. Prepare 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
  11. You need 2 tbsp of cashewnuts pieces/ or 6-8 whole cashewnuts.
  12. You need 2 cups of water.
  13. It's to taste of Salt.
  14. You need of To grind : masala paste.
  15. It's 2 of green chillies.
  16. It's 1/2 of " ginger piece.
  17. Prepare 2 tbsp of grated fresh coconut.
  18. Prepare 3 of garlic flakes.

Veg Handi/Handi Subzi step by step

  1. First grind masala paste..in mixer jar add & grind all mentioned ingredients for it. Finely chopped onion, keep aside. Chopped french beans, potato, cauliflower into big pieces. Mix chopped onion, all dry spices, cashewnuts with grinded masala paste..
  2. In handi add 2 cup of water, keep for boiling. Add ghee into it. Add and mix onion and spices mixture in it..
  3. Add and mix all chopped vegetables and salt. Cover with lid (with water) and cook on slow flame, in between stirring occasionally.(Add more water if necessary). It will take 30-35 mins for vegetables to fully cooked. Remove from flame..
  4. Serve Hot Veg Handi/Handi Subzi with parathas..
