- It's 1 Litre of Milk.
- You need 1/2 Cup of Milkmaid.
- You need 1/4 Cup of Sugar.
- Prepare 1/4 Teaspoon of Vanilla Essence.

- It's 3/4 Teaspoon of Baking Powder.
- It's 1/4 Teaspoon of Cardamom Powder.
- It's 1 of Egg.

Ras Malai step by step
- Boil Milk and sugar in a pan. Simmer the heat when it starts boiling and stir in condensed milk. Keep boiling on low heat and in the meanwhile prepare the dough..
- In a bowl, sift the milk powder and baking powder thoroughly. Add the cardamom powder. Mix it the melted butter and beaten egg and knead to a soft dough..
- Make balls out it to the size of a lemon and press the lightly and drop it into the boiling milk in one go..
- Cook on low flame for about 10 minutes. Add the vanilla essence and remove from stove..
- Top it with crushed pistachios..
- Serve the balls which is now fluffier and bigger in size with the milk..

- TIP : Ensure that the balls are smooth and not cracked as they may fall apart when cooking in the milk..
- TIP : Incase, the balls fall apart, simply pour them in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the mixture into moulds for amazing Kulfi.
