Ingredients of Festival Special Mava Gujiya

  2. Prepare 1/4 cup of suji.
  3. It's 1 & ½ cup of maida.
  4. Prepare 3 tbsp of ghee.

  13. Prepare 2 tbsp of badam finely chopped.

  18. It's 1 cup of sugar.

  1. Take a bowl and add maida, Suji and ghee and mix well and prepare semi-soft dough..
  2. Cover dough with wet cloth..
  3. Take a pan and ghee. Now add suji and roast 2 mins on low flame. Now add mava roast 2 to 3 mins after 2 mins off the flame and cool completely..
  4. Now add sugar powder and mix well. Now add coconut powder and all dry fruits and mix well..
  5. Stuffing is ready..
  6. Take a pan and add sugar & water then make sugar syrup. (After sugar melt and cook 8 min on low flame).
  7. Sugar syrup is ready. Now add lemon juice. Cut 14 to 15 equal pieces from dough..
  8. Take 1 portion and make puri..
  9. Take a mould and make gujiya.
  10. Ready all gujiya..
  11. Take a kadai and heat the ghee. Fry gujiya on low flame till golden brown colour..
  12. Put Gujhiya in the syrup and leave it for 2 minutes, then turn it over and let it remain submerged for 2 minutes..
  13. Remove from sugar syrup & garnish with chopped pista & badam..
  14. Ready delicious gujiya..
