Ingredients of Masala bhat
- Prepare 1 cup of Cauliflower.
- Prepare 1 cup of Onion.
- Prepare 1 cup of Potato.
- Prepare 1 cup of Peas.
- It's 2 cups of Rice.
- It's 6-8 of Green chilli.
- Prepare 10-15 cloves of Garlic.
- It's 1/2 cup of Coriander leaves.
- It's 2 of Black cardamoms.
- Prepare 5 tbsp of Oil.
- It's 1 tbsp of Shah jeera.
- It's 1/2 tbsp of Garam masala.
- You need 1/2 tbsp of Salt.
- You need 1/2 tbsp of Red chilli powder.
Masala bhat instructions
- In a mixer pot add garlic, green chilli and coriander leaves, also add jeera and salt and grind it to a fine paste..
- Now wash rice and keep aside.Now chop all the vegetable and keep aside..
- Take a pan add oil to it,when oil is hot add jeera.when jeera crackle add onions and cool them on slow flame till onions turn pink.
- Now add the ground masala(step1) to pot and cook it for 5 minutes...
- When masala is cooked for 5 minutes and add vegetables..
- Now add haldi,lalmirchi,garam masala,salt,black cardomom and mix well..
- Now add rice and mix well and keep stirring till rice gets shiny..
- Add water,cover it and cook it on slow flame.when rice are cooked serve hot with kadi.
