- For filling- In a thick bottom pan Add grated khoya and roast till light golden in colour. Add coconut and nuts and roast further for a few min..

- Add ghee and rub with hands until mixed evenly. Add water gradually and as required to make a medium soft dough..
- Divide the dough in small balls, roll them thin and fill with prepared mix. Shape them as gujhiya with the help of a mould or by hands. Prepare until the dough is finished..
- Lay them in the baking tray, and brush them all evenly with milk. Sprinkle sliced almonds in them.
- Bake for approx 15 min in a pre heated oven at 180 degree Celsius. Or until golden brown..
- Take them out on a wire rack and brush with a freshly prepared saffron sugar syrup for shiny glaze effect..
- U can serve them when still warm and also store for later..
