- Prepare 1 1/4 cup of maida or plain flour.
- You need 1 cup of sugar powder.

- Add water accordingly and knead a soft dough..
- Keep aside for 15 minute..
- Add a pan to the flame,add mawa or khoya..
- Roast the mawa for a minute.when it start to become soft add crushed almonds, coconut, cardamom and sugar powder as well..
- Turn off flame.mix very well.u can add sugar according to ur taste..
- Knead the dough again after time lapse for a minute..
- Make small balls of dough like a lemon size..
- Roll all balls like pooris.u can add little Plain flour if dough become more soft..
- Now in the half part of poori add 1 tbsp stuffing of mawa mixture..
- Cover with the remaining part..
- Push the corners with ur fingers..
- Now bend again the corners or press tightly..
- Be gentle during filling and covering the gujiya..
- Fry in deep oil or ghee.flame should be medium to low..
- Once oil becomes hot u will fry all gujiya with medium to low flame to cook very well..
