Ingredients of Coconut Double layered Gujiya

  1. You need 1/2 kg of maida.
  2. Prepare 1/2 kg of sugar.
  3. You need pinch of Ilachi powder.
  4. Prepare 1 cup of coconut powder.
  5. Prepare 2 tsp of suji.
  6. You need Pinch of food colour.
  7. Prepare of Oil for deep frying.
  8. You need 1 tsp of ghee.
  9. It's Half tsp of baking soda.
  10. It's of Rose petals for decoration.

Coconut Double layered Gujiya step by step

  1. Take a bowl put maida add pinch soda and 1 tsp ghee mix well by the help of water.
  2. Apply little oil after dough preparation.
  3. Mean while add sugar and half glass water keep stirring upto one string consistency add elaichi powder and food colour.
  4. After that take kneaded maida cut small pieces to make pooris ((stuff coconut powder and fried suji and sugar mix))into the poori.
  5. For Double layer Take small dough make poori shape then cut staight lines inside.
  6. This layer is close with Stuffed one complete making all the ghujiyas with the same process.
  7. Put kadai on flame pour oil for deep frying.
  8. After golden colour put into sugar syrup the same process goes for all double layered gujiya...ready to serve decorate rose petals.
