Ingredients of Nargisi Kofta

  1. You need 500 gm of minced chicken or beef.
  2. Prepare 6-8 of eggs.
  3. Prepare 1 of medium onion.
  4. Prepare 3/4 tsp of salt or as per taste.
  5. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Garam masala powder.
  6. It's 1 tsp of chilli powder.
  7. It's 3 of large green chillies.
  8. Prepare 6-8 cloves of garlic.
  9. Prepare 1 inch of piece of ginger.
  10. It's 2 tbs of fried onions.
  11. Prepare 1 tbs of popi seeds or paste of 6 almonds...
  12. You need 1/2 tbs of roasted and crushed cummin seeds and coriander seeds each.
  13. Prepare of Oil for frying kofta as per need.
  14. Prepare of For gravy.
  15. It's 2 of large onions (fried).
  16. You need 2/3 cup of oil.
  17. It's 250 ml of Yoghurt.
  18. You need 3/4 tsp of salt or as per taste.
  19. You need 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.
  20. Prepare 1/2 tsp of red chillies powder.
  21. It's 1 tbs of ginger garlic paste.
  22. Prepare 1/2 of crushed red chillies.
  23. It's 1 tsp of Cummin seeds.
  24. It's 2 of bay leaves.
  25. You need 2 of black whole cardemom.
  26. You need of Black pepper powder for sprinkling over kofta's egg.
  27. It's of Fresh coriander for garnishing.

Nargisi Kofta instructions

  1. For kofta.....First of all wash minced chicken or beef and drain out water completely....shud be pet dry.....
  2. Now chopped onion in a chopper and drain out it's water then in a chopper add ginger garlic and chillies and chopped them....we need too much blended paste that's y first of all chopped solid ingredients.....
  3. Fry the onions and Now again in a chopper add all masalas and make a smooth mixture....it shud be chopped into fine and smooth mixture.... Now take out all mixture in a bowl and hard boil the eggs and remove skin of them.
  4. Now make nargisi kofta or scotched eggs.....take a small ball size mixture in your hand..make ball then press and place egg in the middle....gently cover all side of egg and press it well by the palm of hands to make smooth ball.... You can make 6 to 8 koftas from this mixture... depends on eggs size... preferably take small to medium sized eggs.
  5. Now take a pan heat plenty of oil fry the Scotch eggs for 2 to 3 minutes... don't fry golden brown just half done for better taste and colour of koftas....fry all and keep aside. Now make gravy.....fried the onions and blend the onions with yoghurt....make fine paste... onion shud not be over fried... otherwise gravy will be little bitter.
  6. Now in a pan add oil.. ginger garlic pasteand black cardemom and bay leaves... fry until aroma comes..now add all remaining ingredients...add little water and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on slow flame....
  7. After 2 to 3 minutes add scotch eggs and leave on steam cooking for few minutes more until done and keep required consistency.....
  8. Yummm and delicious koftas are ready to serve...garnish it with fresh coriander.and serve with nan,roti..
