- It's 2 cups of wheat flour (gehu ka aata).
- It's 1 cup of grated jaggery (gur).
- Prepare 1 tbsp of suji (semolina).
- It's 1/4 tsp of baking soda.
- You need 1/4 tsp of cardomon powder (elaichi powder).
- Prepare 10 of cashews chopped (kaju).
- It's 10 of raisins (kishmish).

- In a bowl combine grated jaggery, 1 cup water, semolina,cashews raisins, mix well set aside for 10 minutes..
- Then add wheat flour, cardamon powder and baking soda,mix well if batter is too thick adjust consistency with some water..
- Set the batter aside to ferment for atleast an hour..
- Heat oil in a kadai once oil is medium hot scoop out medium sized balls of the batter and drop gently into hot oil..
- Make sure not to overcrowd them once golden flip them and cook from other side too keep changing sides to ensure even browning from all sides..
- Once nicely browned remove on a plate these can stay upto 3 to 4 days outside and relish when required..
