  1. It's 2 cups of wheat flour (gehu ka aata).
  2. It's 1 cup of grated jaggery (gur).
  3. Prepare 1 tbsp of suji (semolina).
  4. It's 1/4 tsp of baking soda.
  5. You need 1/4 tsp of cardomon powder (elaichi powder).
  6. Prepare 10 of cashews chopped (kaju).
  7. It's 10 of raisins (kishmish).

  1. In a bowl combine grated jaggery, 1 cup water, semolina,cashews raisins, mix well set aside for 10 minutes..
  2. Then add wheat flour, cardamon powder and baking soda,mix well if batter is too thick adjust consistency with some water..
  3. Set the batter aside to ferment for atleast an hour..
  4. Heat oil in a kadai once oil is medium hot scoop out medium sized balls of the batter and drop gently into hot oil..
  5. Make sure not to overcrowd them once golden flip them and cook from other side too keep changing sides to ensure even browning from all sides..
  6. Once nicely browned remove on a plate these can stay upto 3 to 4 days outside and relish when required..
