- Then add the milk,stir & cover with a lid.Let it simmer over low heat for 30 mints till the carrots are cooked..
- Add the sugar & stir continuously,making sure that the carrots do not start to stick..
- For a thicker khoya(cream) taste, add some milk powder, cardamom powder,stir well to mix & let the carrots cook over low heat for 10 mints..
- Turn off the flame & let the halwa sit covered for 10 mints..
- Add the chopped dry fruits & mix..
