- You need 1/2 kilograms of Khoya.
- It's 2-3 cups of Powder Sugar.
- Prepare 2 pinches of Cardamom powder.
- You need 1 tablespoon of Finely chopped cashew nuts and almonds.
- It's 1 tablespoon of Raisins.
- It's 1/2 tablespoon of Chironji dana roasted.
- You need as needed of Ghee for kneading dough and for deep frying gujhiya.
- Prepare as needed of Milk for kneading dough.
UP style Khoye Ki Gujhiya step by step
- First of all take maida, 2 tablespoon of ghee..mix well. Knead a medium soft dough milk and keep aside covered for some time.
- Roast khoya for 4 minutes on low heat, ley it cool completely.
- Add powder sugar, dry fruits, cardamom powder, raisins and chironji dana to roasted khoya.
- Mix well everything to prepare stuffing.
- Now knead the dough again to make it soft.
- Roll out a small puri, take it in hand, take sufficient ready filling in centre of puri.
- Seal the ends of puri carefully.
- Start pinching it inside from outside to inside till another end.
- Like wise prepare all the gujhiya.
- Heat sufficient ghee in a heavy bottom pan.
- Deep fry all the gujhiya on very low heat till golden in colour.
- Let them cool completely and then store in air tight container.
