Ingredients of Delightful Gujiya :)

  1. It's to fry of Ghee Butter / Clarified or Refined Oil.
  2. It's 500 grams of Maida All purpose flour /.
  3. It's 6 tblsps of Ghee Oil / (melted).
  4. It's 500 grams of Khoya Milk / solid.
  5. It's 1/2 tsp of Cardamom Green Powder.
  6. It's 25 grams of Almond Chopped.
  7. Prepare 25 grams of Walnut Chopped.
  8. It's 25 grams of Raisins.
  9. It's 25 grams of Coconut Dried (shredded).
  10. You need 350 grams of Sugar powdered     or   to tastes.

Delightful Gujiya :) instructions

  1. Sift the flour into a bowl and rub in the ghee/clarified butter with your fingertips nicely. Now add some water and knead into a stiff dough. Rest the dough, covered with a damp cloth for 10-15 minutes..
  2. For stuffing, mash the khoya/milk solid in a bowl and fry it in a pan till light brown in color. Then add sugar and cardamom powder into this and mix well. Add almonds, walnuts, dried coconut and raisins. Fry it for another 2 minutes and remove from the heat. Allow it to cool..
  3. Divide the dough into small balls and roll out into poori shape or small round of 4 inch diameter. Fill half the round with khoya/milk solid mixture, lightly moisten the edges, fold the other half over the stuffing and press the edges to seal with the help of fork (just for a design)..
  4. Heat ghee/clarified butter or refined oil in a deep pan and deep fry the Gujiyas on a medium flame for 5-6 minutes or till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and garnish it with almond and pistachio powder(Optional). .
  5. Store in an airtight container when completely cold. Enjoy these mouthwatering dry fruit Gujiyas :).
