  5. You need 1 Teaspoon of Coriander Powder.
  6. It's 2 of Onion Medium Sized Paste.
  7. It's 1.5 Teaspoons of Garlic Paste.
  8. You need 1 of Tomato Finely Chopped.
  9. It's 1 Bunch of Coriander finely chopped.
  10. Prepare 1 Teaspoon of Tamarind Paste.

  1. Marinate the fish in salt and turmeric powder for 15-20 min. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the fish pieces, drain and keep aside..
  2. In a bowl, add onion paste, garlic paste and all dry spices like red chilli powder, coriander powder, Cumin powder, little turmeric, mix nicely and keep aside..
  3. Heat oil in a kadai pan and add mustard seeds for tampering. Then add spice paste and fry till it leaves oil. Add tomatoes, and fry it again for 2-4 min. Add about 1.5 cup water and bring the gravy to a boil..
  4. Then add tamarind paste and stir. Add the fish slices and cook for 10 minutes in simmer. Once done, garnish with chopped coriander and serve fish curry hot with steamed rice :).
