Ingredients of Sugarfree Coconut Laddoos

  1. You need 3 tablespoon of ghee.
  2. It's Handful of roughly chopped cashews.
  3. It's 1 Handful of golden raisins.
  4. Prepare 2 cups of freshly grated coconut.
  5. Prepare 1 cup of powdered jaggery.
  6. Prepare 2 tablespoon of finely powdered green cardamom.

Sugarfree Coconut Laddoos step by step

  1. Melt 1 tablespoon ghee in a non stick wok.
  2. Add the cashews and raisins.
  3. Sauté on Low heat till the cashews brown slightly and raisins puff up.
  4. Once done, remove the cashews and raisins from the wok carefully and place them on a plate.
  5. Now add the remaining ghee in the wok and put it back on the stove to heat.
  6. Add the coconut and sauté on Low heat for 5-6 minutes.
  7. Add the powdered jaggery into the coconut and mix well(if using whole jaggery, melt it using some water alongside sautéing the coconut).
  8. Now on Low heat, keep cooking the mix for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Once the mixture dries out slightly add the cardamom powder, fried cashews and raisins.
  10. Mix well and take off heat.
  11. Let the mixture cool off a bit.
  12. While still warm create laddoos.
  13. Let cool completely and store airtight.
  14. Leftovers can be refrigerated.
