- You need 250 gm of curd/plain yogurt.
- Prepare 100 gm of nolen gur/date palm jaggery.
- It's 3-4 of pistachios sliced lengthwise.
- You need 2 Tb of water.
- You need 1/4 tsp of Ground green cardamom (optional).

- Make hung curd by keeping the yogurt in muslin lined colander for an hour or two.
- Melt jaggery using water on Low heat and take off heat and let cool completely.
- Place the hung curd obtained in a bowl and add the cardamom powder and jaggery syrup to it.
- Whisk well until well combined and no lumps are visible.
- Pour the yogurt in a bowl or container where you would prefer to set it before serving.
- Garnish with sliced pistachios.
- Refrigerate for alteast 2 hours to set the shrikhand.
- Serve chilled.
