Ingredients of Sugarfree Rava Kesari

  1. You need 100 gms of semolina/rava/sooji.
  2. Prepare 5-8 of tbn ghee.
  3. It's 3-4 of cashews.
  4. Prepare 5 of tbn palm jaggery powder.
  5. Prepare 1 pinch of salt.
  6. It's 1 Cup of water.
  7. It's 1 of tbn green cardamom powder.

Sugarfree Rava Kesari step by step

  1. Brown the cashews after melting 1 tbn ghee in a pan. keep aside.
  2. Further add 3 tbn ghee to the same pan and dry roast the semolina till slightly brown. keep aside.
  3. Now add 1 cup water in a pan and bring it to boil.
  4. Add the roasted semolina in the water and reduce the heat and keep stirring for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. When the water is almost absorbed, add the jaggery,cardamom powders and mix well.
  6. Blend all the ingredients well by adding 2 tbn ghee to the mix.
  7. Finish off by adding a pinch of salt and take of heat and garnish with toasted cashews.
  8. Tip: Check the sweetness level of the halwa and add more jaggery if needed. For toddlers, cashews and other nuts can be powdered and added during cooking.
