I have already made mawa gujiya but the filling for this gujiya is different from the one I have prepared. Only thing is that the filling is different. It has coconut, sesame seeds and sugar. Even there are so many different varieties of gujiya depending on the filling used.
Tri colour mawa Gujiya instructions
- Make a nice dough with all dough ingredients separately.
- Now mix the three colour dough..take a small portion of the dough and roll it like a puri.
- Heat the pan and add ghee then put the nuts and coconut...
- Stir it for a while..add sugar also..saute for a while.
- Heat an another pan and add little bit ghee snd mawa.
- Stir it very nicely..cook it for a while..then mix it with coconut mixture.it's done.
- Now put the mawa stuffing in the puri..shape it like gujiya.
- Heat the pan and add oil.fry the gujiya until it becomes little brown and crispy.
- Make a light sugar syrup with the syrup ingredients..dip the gujiya in the syrup.
- Keep it for 5 minutes.
- It's ready to serve.
