- It's of grated carror/gajar1cup.
- You need 3 cups of milk.
- Prepare of sugar as per taste.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of cardmom powder.
- You need 6-7 of seffron strends.
- You need 1 tbsp of chopped almonds.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of chopped pistachio.
Reheat carrot halwa just before serving with a little milk. If not serving immediately, refrigerate carrot halwa and re-heat and serve when desired. Gajar ka halwa(no oil/no khoya) step by step
- Heat a pan add grated carrot in it saute at low flame for 1-2minutes.
- Add milk in it and cook,till milk get reduced to half.
- Stir occasionally,add cardamom powder and seffron strends to it.
- Add sugar mix well.
- Add almonds and pistachio to it.
- As milk gets completely reduced switch off the flame.
- Ready to serve.
