- It's 1 Cup of Urad Daal.
- You need 1 Tsp of Cumin Seeds.
- It's as required of Oil for frying.
- You need 1/4 Tsp of Asafoetida.
- It's 1 Tsp of Salt.
- Prepare 1 Tsp of Roasted Cumin Powder.
- Prepare 1/4 Cup of Tamarind Dates Chutney.

- Wash soaked urad daal with water and put it in a mixer jar and grind with little water till smooth..
- Transfer the batter into a bowl, add salt,chopped ginger,chopped coriander and whisk well so as to incorporate air into the batter..
- Dampen your fingers and drop small amounts into the hot oil and deep fry till golden brown..
- Put the water at room temperature. Drain the bhalle and drop into this water. Add little asafoetida to the water and let the bhalle soak for a while..
- Take yogurt in a bowl add sugar some salt and mix well..
- Squeeze out excess water from the bhalle and put it in the plate..
- While serving keep bhalle in a plate.Pour yougurt over it.Sprinkle red chilli powder,Chaat masala,Cumin powder some salt,tamarind dates chutney and garnish it with chopped coriander..
