- Wash and soak dal for 4 hour in sufficient water.
- Now take a jar put Dal,Green Chilli and Ginger and add some water and grind it to make fine paste.
- Now Transfer the batter/paste in a bowl and whisk it in one direction for 7-8 minutes to make it smooth. now add Hing,pinch of cumin powder, salt and mix them well.

- Now take a kadai put oil and heat it now drop in spoonfull portion of batter in oil like pakoda and fry it on medium flame till light brown in colour.
- Now soak fried bhallas for 15 minutes in lukewarm water and then gentely squeeze it and then change the water and soak it again in luck warm water for 30 mins.
- Take a bowl put curd and whisk it and add sugar powder and mix well.
- Now mix cumin powder and ajwain powder and keep aside.
- After 30 mins gentley squeeze bhalla to remove extra water and then keep aside.
- Now take servings bowl and arrange bhalla and put curd on it and add tamarind chutney and green chutney on top of it and sprinkle salt, cumin - ajwain powder and red chilli powder on it.
- Dahi bhalla is ready.
