- Soak Mung dal for 2 to 3 hours.Drain extra water and coarse grind it in a mixture. Take oil in a kadai add Jeera let it crackle. Add onion, ginger, garlic, green chillies and roast for 4 to 5 minutes..
- Add coarse mung dal. Roast it on low flame for 20 minutes stirring it continuously. Add Coriander and remaining dry masala. Roast till we get completely dry mixture. Add besan paste to it and cook for 2 to 3 minutes..
- Take it from flame and let it cool for some time..
- Knead the dough of roti and make small rotis from it. Take a roti,spread some stuffing on it. Cover it with another roti and roll it to desired sized..
- Cook on medium flame till golden brown and crispy. Serve them with curd and pickle. NOTE : Same Stuffing can be used to make Mung Dal Kachori's. The out cover can be of maida or wheat flour as per desire.
