- It's 1 of small onion chopped.
- It's 1 of medium onion sliced finely.

Mughlai Chicken Gravy instructions
- Marinate chicken with little salt and turmeric for half hour.Make a paste of cashewnuts,curd,malai,1 small onion and ginger garlic paste.Heat oil in a wok and fry sliced onion crispy brown.Set aside.Remove excess oil.In 2 tbsp oil,sprinkle half crushed whole garam masala,black peppercorns and bay leaves.When they crackle,add the ground masala,tomato puree,kasoori methi,salt,chaap masala,turmeric and red chilli powder and toss..
- Add chicken and fry till oil leaves sides.Add 1 cup water and cook on low flame till chicken is done.Lightly crush crispy fried onion and mix in chicken and cook few minutes.Sprinkle 2 drops mitha attar and ghee.Garnish with chopped coriander,green chillies and few cashewnuts.Serve delicious mughlai chicken on special occasions or weekened family dinner with pulao or any Indian flat bread.
