- You need 1 cup of steamed rice (leftover).
- It's 1 cup of ready Dal (any).
- It's 2 cups of wheat flour /(as required).
- It's 1 t bsp of oil for kneading dough.
- You need as needed of Oil for shallow fry.
- It's to taste of Salt.
- It's 1 tsp of green chilli paste.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.
- Prepare 1 tsp of cumin powder.
- You need 1 tsp of crushed garlic(optional).
- It's 1 tbsp of fresh Fenugreek leaves(optional).
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Red chilli powder.
- You need 1 pinch of Asafoetida.

- Add leftover rice and dal in big mixing bowl.
- Add all the spices in it and finely chopped Fenugreek leaves mix it..
- Now add wheat flour and knead a dough.. Add very little water or avoid to add as well..
- Pick a small ball of dough and roll it dusting dry wheat flour..
- Shallow fry on griddle pouring oil from the sides of the paratha..
- Serve hot with fresh yogurt and pickle..
